When you download Attorney’s Assistant, this Front Screen will appear. It will guide you through construction of the database for each case. The attorney will decide which topic screens to use and how much detail is needed, depending on the complexity of each case. The screens with red checkmarks and the highlighted fields on those screens are the minimum required to activate the Quick Start feature of Attorney’s Assistant. The data entered on these screens will then be used to draft legal documents, property settlement worksheets, and correspondence. As the case proceeds, they can easily be amended to reflect the current status of court proceedings and settlement discussions.
